Greetings common folk. My name is Princess Piggles. When I was first brought home as a young kitten, my family named me Isla. A beautiful name indeed but, due to my fondness for food and adoration (mostly food though), they quickly started calling me Piggles. I added the Princess myself, I mean just look at me, clearly it’s befitting.
My six feline siblings are just ordinary domestic cats. Except Tobey, he has longer hair like me but he is still just average. I’m the only purebred cat in our family. I’m a Ragdoll; it’s got the word “doll” right in the breed name so clearly I’m quite extraordinary. My Mom says she loves us all the same but I think we all know the truth. I am a proper lady. I never upset my other feline family members. I think they just know their place so it’s really not necessary. I spend my days sleeping and eating, of course. I have my own basket, but my sister’s basket is in a better, more prominent location so sometimes I take hers. She’s not as “fluffy” as me but I make it work, with a few body parts hanging over the edges. I’m rather quiet most of the time and just prefer to be somewhere elevated where I can look down on my human minions and other felines. If I want attention, I will come to you. Please do not interrupt me when I’m sleeping. A Princess needs her beauty sleep. When I am hungry (which is rather often) I position myself in the middle of the kitchen and utter the most mournful of meows. We only get fed three times a day so it’s essential I let my humans know that it is meal time or I might fade away. The other cats eat from regular ceramic cat bowls but I prefer my meals to be served to me on my little red plate. Nothing says royalty like red, so it just makes sense really. Well, I must rest know. Writing is quite exhausting and working is not something I am used to nor something I ever want to do. It just doesn’t fit in with my lifestyle. Princesses don’t work, they reign over their kingdom.
