Registered Veterinary Technician
Tasha was born and raised in Port Perry, Ontario. Growing up, she was surrounded by a wide variety of animals including: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters and rats. From a young age, Tasha knew that animals would always play an important role in her life.
After living in Peterborough, and graduating with a business degree, Tasha moved to Toronto to focus on completing a second degree, this time, in the human medical field. Her various educational and employment experiences made her realize how important animals were in her life. With this realization, Tasha applied to the Veterinary Technician Program at Seneca College. In 2012, she graduated as a Veterinary Technician and completed her Registered Veterinary Technician designation. Tasha began her career in the area of Emergency Veterinary Medicine.
Tasha moved to Muskoka in order to live a more “country” lifestyle whereupon she began working at Centennial Animal Hospital. Since she began working at Centennial Animal Hospital, Tasha has received many more learning opportunities and this has only continued to strengthen her passion for animals.
Tasha leads a busy lifestyle; she works in the hospitality industry as well. She lives with her 2 cats (Dilbert and Jynx) and her 2 bunnies (Teddy and Trixie).
In her spare time, Tasha enjoys snowboarding, snowmobiling, boating, and in general, the Muskoka lifestyle.
